GFCF Support Group
For families who are implementing or thinking about implementing the
Gluten-Free, Casein-Free Diet as a treatment for Autism

When: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 – 6:30 PM
Where: Camp Hill Giant Community Rm (upstairs)
(supper/snacks can be purchased in the marketplace; no outside food)

.............. Whether you’re just starting the gluten-free, casein-free diet or have been at it a while and feel like you’re stuck in a rut, you may be looking for new ideas about how to make it work for your family. Join us as we discuss some challenges and solutions for successful implementation of the diet.
...............
This month will be a special meeting. We will start upstairs at 6:30 with a brief questions-only meeting (no handouts or general information, but feel free to come with questions). Then we’ll head downstairs to walk the aisles together and point out favorite GFCF products. Come prepared to share your favorites. Bring a notebook and pen to jot down all the great products you’ll discover!
........
The group will meet monthly at the Camp Hill Giant for an opportunity to relax, talk with others in similar situations, and learn from each other. Topics will be determined by the needs of those involved, but will likely include food diaries, replacement ingredients, recipe swap, where to find specific foods, eating away from home, GFCF holidays, and more.

...............An outreach of ASD HOPE, the GFCF Support Group is facilitated by a mother who has seen tremendous improvements from her son’s two gluten-free, casein-free years and who also balances additional food allergies/restrictions in the family diet.
