Cherrybrook Farms Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix – Fabulous! (Be careful – they also make a chocolate-chip cookie mix that is NOT GFCF. Make sure you get the right one!)

Cherrybrook Kitchen Chocolate Frosting Mix - Now Cherrybrook Kitchen is offering a ready made icing similar to Betty Crocker. We really like both. (The ready-to-spread is currently unavailable. Keep your eyes open for its return. The mix IS still available.)

The Cravings Place Ooey-Gooey Chocolatey
-Chewy Brownie Mix (also free of nuts, eggs, and beans) – All you add is canola oil and water and it makes a 9x13 pan of awesome brownies. Both Cravings Place mixes are good to keep on hand for play dates and sending snacks to school. When it’s my son’s turn to be “snack helper” at preschool, I send these for the whole class. The kids (and teachers!) love them and would never guess they’re GFCF.

Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-Free Pancake Mix – My son likes these pancakes. It’s a great mix when you’re first going GFCF and need easy meals. These work best if you mix them in the blender.

Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-Free Homemade Wonderful Bread Mix
– I love this mix. Instead of making a 9-5 loaf, I divide the dough and make two 8-4 loaves. I think it rises better and makes a prettier loaf this way. Also, this mix is rice-free, so I make it with almond milk and it serves as my son’s bread on his rice-free days. Note these variations from the October Treats handout: Italian Bread – use Olive Oil for the “butter or oil” option. Mix 2 tsp basil, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp Italian seasoning (check for GFCF), and ½ tsp garlic powder into the wet ingredients before pouring into bread machine. Chocolate Spice Bread – use canola oil or melted Earth Balance for the “butter or oil” option. Mix the following in as directed above: 2 ½ tsp honey or agave nectar, 1 tsp cocoa powder, ½ tsp plus of cinnamon, ¼ tsp allspice, dash of ground cloves. Sweet Bread – same as above but without the cocoa.

Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix
– You can mix this dough ahead of time, then wrap it in plastic wrap and store it for up to a week. It says it makes two pizzas, but my kids are little, so I divide it into three and then refrigerate. I’ve also formed the uncooked dough into rolls and breadsticks. TIP: When I open a block of Vegan Gourmet, I shred the whole thing, then divide it into piles big enough for 1 pizza. Then I wrap each pile in a small paper towel, and freeze in a plastic bag. This way I can thaw just what I need, and don't end up throwing away a half-used block.

Gluten-Free Pantry Brownie Mix Delights – Chocolate – GF; instructions for making it CF and egg-free as well (as if you couldn’t figure that out!). Available at Wal-Mart (think: cheap!) NOTE: Eat them fresh; these quickly get very hard.
